What makes your products special?

Our products are developed by our technical experts in collaboration with high-quality suppliers with the best raw materials, but also involving our most loyal customers who were able to test new developments immediately. Ultimately, this results in a product of a quality that we can be proud of.

Our diamond tools are specifically developed to be reliable for their purpose, be as fast as possible, while keeping a long life time.

In the Diamond Tool industry it is important to not only look at the price or speed of the product, but to also calculate their Price Per Cut.

In today's market, many diamond tools can be found that cost next to nothing and still have a mind blowing speed.

"How is that possible", you are asking?

There is a fair chance that the segments on these products have low-cost bronze powder as their main component, meaning that the diamonds are quickly exposed which results in a fast cut. The great downside is that this also results in segments melting away like ice-cream on a hot summer day.

When being a once-every-now-and-then user, this might not be a great issue, but to contractors that use diamond tools daily, this could cost them thousands of extra euros per year. This will in turn impact the company's level of corporate environmental responsibility negatively.

I have a question about shipping

When will my order be sent off for shipment?

Orders placed by 5pm CET Monday - Friday will be shipped the same day. This might change on Dutch holidays, in which case we'll add a message to the top of the shopping cart page.

Where do you ship from?

All our products are shipped from the Netherlands

How will you ship my order?

We send orders off for shipment with PostNL.

How are shipping rates calculated?

Shipping rates are based on the total weight of your package and the location your order will be shipped to. On the Shopping Cart page you can select your Country and enter your Postal Code to see the correct shipping rates.

Will I get a tracking number?

We provide you with a tracking number as soon as your order has left the door. Tracking numbers will be sent to you by email for all shipments. Didn't receive our email? Please check your spam folder before contacting us, as they often end up there.

What about taxes and fees?

For orders within the Netherlands we must charge a 21% sales tax. For international orders, we charge nothing extra apart from the shipping cost. Any fees that are imposed by the customs department of the importing country, are unfortunately the responsibility of the customer. You will be contacted directly by the carrier or customs department of your country to handle the import fees before you will receive our products.

What are my options for payment?

We accept to following means of payment:

  • Coinbase (Bitcoin)

If you wish to get a 14 days payment term, or pay in 4 separate installments, this is possible through payment provider Klarna at checkout if you are ordering from one of the following countries:

  • The Netherlands
  • Germany
  • Finland
  • Austria
What is your refund policy?

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since the purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require an invoice number or order number.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted

  • Tools with obvious signs of use
  • Boxes that have been damaged on opening
  • Any tools not in their original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons out of our control
  • Any product that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 5 working days.

Shipping

Before you return your product, please send us an email at amsterdam@jksmit.nl after which you will receive the instructions to return your products.

Unfortunately, we can't take responsibility for paying the shipping costs of returned products. Also, shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund.

I'd like to become a dealer of your products. How do I start?

Trade-only dealers receive a 30% discount on the catalog price. However, we maintain high standards for traders who wish to qualify for a dealership.

Does a loyal customer get discount?

Join our Smit Rewards Program and collect Diamond Points to earn a discount.

In this way we keep the distribution of discount fair.

How does it work?

Enrolling to the Smit Rewards Program is fast, free and easy. Click on the "Smit Rewards Program" icon on the lower right side of your screen or click here. Register your email address and use it every time you check out.

2. Earn

Earn points for every euro spent in our store.

3. Redeem

View and track your points in your account.

The Smit Rewards Program knows three tiers:

  • Silver [750 points] 5% discount
  • Gold [ 5000 points] 15% discount
  • Platinum [20000 points] 25% discount
We closely track the collection of points and will allocate the correct tier automatically. When a tier is reached, a private discount code will be sent that will be valid for one year.
